vineetha biography and photos

Vineetha was a popular South Indian actress in the 1990's. She acted opposite top actors like Mohanlal, Prabhu Ganesan, Vijayakanth, Karthik etc. She was a successful actress. She acted in films like Manthrikam (1995), Maayajalam (1996) etc. However she left the industry before making an impact. She later appeared in a Malayalam film titled Thaandavam in 2002 starring Mohanlal and Kiran Rathod in lead role. She looked older and aged in the film.


Controversy:

Wellknown actress Vineetha held for indulging prostitution. Chennai police arrested Vineetha, her mother, brother, a pimp and 'customer' on Thursday (August 14, 2003).


Though the police didn't have any idea that Vineetha were to be caught up as they originally were eyeing on a notorious pimp. Police had been watching him closely. They had set eyes on him on Wednesday night.


He reportedly had brokered the deal between a businessman of Korean national who came to Chennai on business purpose and Vineetha. The police followed the pimp and they were surprised seeing Vineetha being the person. Police had arrested them and also raided on two other places, where two small-time-struggling heroines were caught while indulging prostitution.
